Dr. Gameil is a consultant Hematology and bone marrow transplant at the National center for cancer care and research (NCCCR) Hamad Medical corporation (HMC). Dr. Gameil is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the Weill Cornell medical College in Qatar (WCMC-Q) and a clinical assistant professor in hematology at Qatar university.
Dr. Gameil is board certified in internal medicine (CABIMS) and the (MRCP). She has completed hematology fellowship training at the NCCCR and bone marrow transplant training at King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh, KSA and clinical fellowship training at King’s college Hospital in London, UK. Dr. Gameil has been awarded a master’s degree in science from Ulm university -Germany in advanced oncology.
“Haploidentical stem cell transplant and GvHD prophylaxis” and a Diploma in cancer biology and therapeutics (CBT) form Harvard medical school.
Her main clinical and academic interests focused on novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in Leukemias, bone marrow transplant and bleeding disorders. Dr. Gameil is a member of many local and international committees and societies including the American society of hematology (ASH), British society of hematology (BSH) and Royal college of pathology UK and she multiple publications in the field.
