If you have been referred for a specialist consultation in the Outpatient Department you no longer need to visit Hamad General Hospital in person to make your appointment.
New Patient Contact Center
All referrals will be received by our dedicated Patient Contact Center. Here they are reviewed by a doctor where priority will be given based on the urgency of the case and priority given to certain patients.
A Patient Contact Center representative will then call you to arrange an appointment that suits you and that will be in the right time frame according to your medical needs.
Reminders
Three days before your appointment you will receive a reminder phone call and on the day before your appointment we will send you an SMS as a final reminder.
