Education and Training
Our department has played a key part in the Joint Commission International accreditation of facilities across HMC and we are an important academic section of the Corporation with our residency program being among the first seven specialties to be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-International (ACGME-I). The ACGME-I accreditation ensures that residents are trained based on the same standards and guidelines as their counterparts in the United States. The department’s rigorous and highly competitive fellowship and residency program provides future radiologists with advanced specialized training. We also offer Continuous Medical Education programs for other clinical specialties that have first-hand exposure to relevant imaging modalities.
