Outpatient physiotherapy services comprises of providing intervention, in an outpatient setting, as per the appointment schedule based on the decision of the physiotherapists.
The Physiotherapist will do an initial evaluation, recognize problems, develop a treatment plan, apply appropriate outcome measures to monitor change and give treatment for a definite number of sessions. The physiotherapists develop a mutual functional goal along with the patient. The patient will be discharged after the patient has achieved the pre-agreed goals and can be advised home program to prevent recurrence and to maintain the changes achieved during the treatment.
Eligibility criteria:
- Patient should have a Physician’s referral for Physiotherapy treatment.
- Patients discharged from inpatient care or Day care/Day rehabilitation.

- Musculoskeletal outpatient: Rumailah Hospital, Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, Al Wakra Hospital, Al Khor Hospital, Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, Bin Omran Physiotherapy Center.
- Geriatric Outpatient: Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, Al Wakra Hospital, Al Khor Hospital.
- Pediatric outpatient: Bin Omran Physiotherapy Center, Al Wakra Hospital, Al Khor Hospital.
- Oncology Outpatient/Lymphedema clinic: Qatar Rehabilitation Institute.
