Patient confidentiality
All HMC staff, including the Mental Health Service team, is required and
committed to keep confidential any personal information provided to them in
the course of doing their work. This will include any service user or carer
information included in the patient’s medical report. Staff is mandated to
comply with a professional and ethical code of conduct which outlines the
right to privacy and confidentiality of our service users and their carers/family.
If you wish to get a copy of your medical report, you can request this
through the hospital medical records office.
