Hamad Medical Corporation as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering world-class quality and capability in healthcare, both in Qatar and internationally, has initiated an International Advisory Panel (IAP) of local and international healthcare professionals to map out the future of the HHQI and build upon HMC’s successes in healthcare improvement.
The International Advisory Panel provides overall strategic guidance to the Institute’s leadership on its activities, drawing on healthcare experts from the international healthcare system. Working in an advisory capacity and in collaboration with HHQI leadership, the IAP is responsible for steering HHQI to respond to the latest local, regional and international healthcare system challenges. Members of the International Advisory Panel also act as ambassadors for the institute nationally and internationally.
The International Advisory Panel are brought together to provide an advisory and oversight function for the Institute. The focus of the International Advisory Panel is to provide:
- Guidance, direction and support to the institute based on their experiences
- Insight into the innovative solutions being developed for healthcare in the international arena
- Sharing best practice and supporting the need to translate existing solutions
- Provide opportunities to develop further affiliations with leading healthcare institutions
- Provide opportunities for networking between organizations
Functions, Scope & Roles
- Leverage international expertise to provide advice and guidance on the HHQI overarching strategy, goals, and plans.
- Provide an international perspective on emerging global developments and challenges.
- Help establish and develop HHQI’s position and reputation within networks of practice, locally, nationally and internationally.
