Launch of the 4th cycle of the Internal Research Grants CycleThe Medical Research Center (MRC) of HMC is very happy to announce the launch of the 4th cycle of the Internal Research Grants Cycle (IRGC). The IRGC program is a first of its kind funding opportunity developed to fund all researchers from established researchers to budding scientists within HMC. It has been a very successful initiative in funding good quality research in three different categories. The three categories for the first two cycles have given an opportunity for researchers at all levels to submit and compete effectively for these prestigious grants. The IRGC first, second and third cycles saw a total of 41 proposals in all three categories winning the awards after stringent review processes.
The submissions for the fourth cycle will start from 1 October, 2017. The timeline for this cycle is as below:

All submissions should be made via the ABHATH, the MRC online research management system. We encourage all applicants to read the guidelines carefully for eligibility, other criteria and submission details before starting applications.
Submissions can be made in one of the categories as below based on the Lead investigator’s eligibility.

- Junior Investigators
- New Investigators
The timeline detailed in the table above is not negotiable as the ABHATH channel will not allow any IRGC submissions beyond the deadline. All proposals should be submitted by the deadline of 30 November 2017. For any queries, please contact
