Umaima Al Raisi is a distinguished healthcare professional serving as the Head of the Continuous Professional Development Department & Simulation Lab at the National Heart Center in Oman, specializing in Cardiothoracic nursing. With a rich background in healthcare leadership, Umaima has held various pivotal roles including Ward Manager, Pre-Anesthesia Clinical Incharge, and Clinical Educator Team Leader.

Her career has been marked by a commitment to excellence and innovation, evident through her leadership in numerous projects aimed at enhancing nursing staff performance, ensuring patient safety, and driving organizational performance improvement. Umaima's dedication and contributions to healthcare have been acknowledged through several prestigious awards, both nationally and internationally. Among her accolades are the Silver Winner title for Patient Safety Awareness Day, awarded  an initiative called Patient Safety Huddle Board, and the Silver Award for the International Hospital Federation Congress for her outstanding work in the Surgical Site Infection Prevention Project. Additionally, Umaima has been lauded as a best research mentor and leader, further underscoring her impact and influence in the field of healthcare.
