Mr. Shiju Ramapurath



Mr. Shiju Ramapurath's accomplishments and contributions as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in MHS are truly inspiring. With 15 years of experience and a master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing, he has clearly shown a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals with mental illness mainly aiming at minimization of aggression and violence. Further, he excels in therapeutic engagement, Health Improvement profiles, and sensory modulation, all contributing to patient-centered care. The establishment of a Clinical Nurse Specialist-led Relapse Prevention in MHS is a significant endeavor. This clinic likely provides patients with crucial tools and strategies to master their life.

Ms. Divya Cecilia Dsouza is an accomplished Clinical Nurse Specialist with 16 years of nursing experience. She holds an M.Sc. in Nursing specializing in Psychiatry, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling and Psychotherapy. Additionally, certified as a Clinical Health Coach and Cognitive Behavior Therapist for Insomnia, Ms. Dsouza's expertise extends to both mental and physical health. Her passion for Sleep and Mental Health, Women’s Mental Health, and Physical Health in Mental Health has fueled her impactful contributions. Her work positively influences patient outcomes and exemplifies her dedication to a comprehensive approach to mental and physical well-being.

Dr. Ananth Nazarene is an acting Nurse Researcher from Mental Health Service. He has PhD, master's degree in psychiatric nursing, and 21 years of nursing experience, 14 of which are in psychiatric nursing. He has 4 publications since joined HMC in 2017 and has 10 more in the queue in different phases. He is committed for the physical health of the patients with mental illnesses and Minimization of aggression and violence among the patients in mental health services. He has presented oral and posters on the same themes in different forums and conferences. His current focus is on implementation of DASA-IV- an aggression predicting tool, Sensory modulation – an aggression reducing intervention and Aggression reporting in Mental health services. His collaborative work with the clinicians in evidenced based practices and Journal club by Nurses in MHS are well appreciated by the Nursing Executive Team in Mental health Services.
