Raissa Jacinto Puddao
Raissa Jacinto Puddao is a Senior Quality Improvement Reviewer in Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She joined Communicable Disease Center (CDC) in 2020 and became immediately involved in fostering and implementing quality and process improvement initiatives
.
A registered nurse and biologist, she has chosen to focus on Healthcare Quality as a Quality Management Coordinator in 2013 and became a member of Best Care Always Collaborative, a joint venture of HMC and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Since then, she has been involved in various initiatives in the Medicine Department which are still implemented in the units. In 2016, she joined the Diabetes-Endocrine Division as a Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator and became a member of the core team who worked in the National Diabetes Center which achieved the 1st Clinical Care Program Certification for Diabetes Mellitus in the MENA region in 2019. A Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), she has authored/co-authored several quality improvement posters, some of which were recognized by HMC and various conferences.
