Dr. Mohammed Salem Jaber Al-Hassan

Dr Mohammed Salem is a Senior Consultant in Hamad Medical Corporation. In addition to his roles as Medical Director and CEO for the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research, Chair of Surgical Oncology and Chair of Cancer Services, Dr Mohammed Salem also chairs the National Clinical Advisory Group for Thyroid Cancers.
Previous corporate senior leadership roles held at Hamad Medical Corporation include Managing Director and Departmental Chair of Accident and Emergency, Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Medical Education and the Treatment Abroad Committee. He was also the President of Qatar Association and a member of the Qatar Medical Board.
Dr Mohammed Salem is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow. He has undertaken examiner roles for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Arab Board.
