Dr. Mohamed Khalil is a Consultant Physician at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar, where he focuses on improving inpatient healthcare quality and safety. Dr. Khalil completed his post graduate training in Mersey Deanery (Liverpool, UK) and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training with dual accreditation in (General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine).
Prior to joining Hamad Medical Corporation in December 2018, he worked in St. Helen’s and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals as a Consultant Physician with special interest in Acute Frailty, Community Geriatrics, and Intermediate Care.
At Hamad Medical Corporation, he has been actively involved in managing hospital inpatients within Internal medicine, providing support for the acute take, inpatient flow, and multidisciplinary work to deliver comprehensive care in a timely manner. He has been actively involved in teaching and training, providing direct support for the Fellowship and Residency Programs, Medical Students from Qatar University and Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar.
