Mrs. Khadija Al Shukaili 



Ms. Khadija Al Shukaili is the Executive Director of Nursing at HGH group. She is well known for her expertise in leading large health care facilities working for more than 26 years in region of gulf countries. She worked with government and private sectors at national-level and internationally. Her focus areas are strategic planning, organizational transformation, operational and performance management. Dedicated on improving patient care, enhancing patient experience and staff performance and well-being. 
She oversees more than 4000 staff across HGH, ACC and CDC. Also, she supported HMC during COVID19 pandemic and 2022 FIFA World Cup activities. she was leading commissioning multiple projects such as Sexual Abuse Referral Clinics (SARC) and Sobering Stations at Emergency Department, HGH Nursing Resource Center and command operational Center that equipped with advance dashboards. 

For the past years of her leadership, she is a member in many collaborative strategic initiatives; working closely with corporate groups, HGH executives, Chairs, Head of clinical departments, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver best outcomes in clinical services remodel, services transitions, reduction of waiting lists, decreased the outpatient booking of new appointment significantly in a short period of time. Other projects e.g., commission of new dialysis centers, (MCRC), pediatric services’ transitions from HGH to Medical Care & Research Center. 

Ms. Khadija determined to strengthen Nursing Shared Governance, Nurse-led initiatives, Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) programs, 40 Value Improvement Projects (VIP), MCAP Clinical utilization tool implementation, Qatari Nursing leaders’ Development Program and many other clinical enhancement projects. Moreover, she is a member of Multiple Chronic Disease National Committee at MOPH and Healthy Cities WHO – EMRO program representing HMC and MOPH. 

She is a reliable, optimism, result-driven, strategic-oriented leader who cultivates workforce engagement and performance, and able to analyze risks to turn them into opportunities for improvement. She has led her team to win multiple awards & appreciation in HMC.
