Julie Melville​

Julie Melville, is the Manager of Occupational Therapy and Orthotics Services within the Allied Health Department at Sidra Medicine. Julie has worked in the Middle East region for over 9 years and in addition to her leadership role at Sidra, Julie is also a standing member of the Department of Healthcare Professions committee for the development of scopes of practice and registration requirements for allied health practitioners in the state of Qatar. Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Julie was a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.  She has covered a wide variety of clinical specialty areas in occupational therapy from pediatric hand trauma, rheumatology and facial palsy. Julie provides leadership and mentorship to occupational therapist in quality improvement, service development and clinical excellence.  She has a Masters in International Child Health and sits on a committee for education development for Facial Therapy Specialists International.
