Dr. Eman Radwan
Consultant - Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (HQPS), Healthcare Quality Department Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) The State of Qatar
Dr. Eman Radwan is currently running the Healthcare Quality Department at MOPH which includes managing multiple national quality programs. She is also a member of the National Healthcare Quality Committee at MOPH.
Dr. Eman has a Master of Public Health (MPH) from University of Auckland, New Zealand, an MSc. In Public Health and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University and a diploma in managerial excellence in healthcare from New Zealand Institute of Management.
Dr. Eman’s experience spans more than 30 years working in the field of epidemiology and evaluation of healthcare services at the national level in Egypt, New Zealand and Qatar. Her main focus was on communicable diseases and infection prevention and control as well as evaluation of healthcare programs. She worked in the field of healthcare quality at Ko Awatea in New Zealand utilizing multiple IHI Quality Improvement methodologies. She also lectured at the University of Auckland at the School of Population Health in the Health Systems program for undergraduates. She also participated in the emergency preparedness and response to Swine flu pandemic, Ebola as well as COVID-19 pandemic. She co-authored some research papers on varied topics.
