Dhouha is having over a decade of experience in Infection Prevention and control in Qatar and Tunisia. She is currently working as Lead, National Infection prevention and control Program, Healthcare Quality Department.Previously, she was working in HMC as IPC specialist, as well as the private sector in Qatar. She also served in Ministry of health and private sector in Tunisia.
- Lead the planning, development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of system-wide improvement in infection prevention and control.
- Support and guide healthcare services and other related entities through programs related to infection prevention & control (IPC) and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
- Serve as a role model to promote the goals of IPC programs within the context of local, and international IPC vision and mission.
- Develop, review policies, guidelines, guidance
- Surveillance of healthcare associated infection and Outbreak management
- Serveasresourceandprovidedconsultations on infection prevention and control and liaise with related national, regional and international entities (MOPH, Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Qatar National Tourism Council, Hamad International Airport universities, EMRO, WHO, CDC…)
- Contribute to the national emerging and re-emerging disease Preparedness plan (COVID-19, MERS Cov, Ebola) which included policies, guidance and guidelines, sourcing all logistics required, training staff on Personal Protective Equipment use and simulation training, public awareness and restriction plan and member of different committee and task force teams…
