Dr. Ananth Nazarene

Dr. Ananth Nazarene is an acting Nurse Researcher from Mental Health Service. He has PhD, master's degree in psychiatric nursing, and 21 years of nursing experience, 14 of which are in psychiatric nursing. He has 4 publications since joined HMC in 2017 and has 10 more in the queue in different phases. He is committed for the physical health of the patients with mental illnesses and Minimization of aggression and violence among the patients in mental health services. He has presented oral and posters on the same themes in different forums and conferences. His current focus is on implementation of DASA-IV- an aggression predicting tool, Sensory modulation – an aggression reducing intervention and Aggression reporting in Mental health services. His collaborative work with the clinicians in evidenced based practices and Journal club by Nurses in MHS are well appreciated by the Nursing Executive Team in Mental health Services. ​
