Aidan Kehoe
Aidan became CEO of Hamad General Hospital in March 2019 and was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief of the Tertiary Hospitals Group at Hamad Medical Corporation in November 2023.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in the healthcare sector, 20 years of which have been spent at Board Level and 15 years as a Chief Executive. In addition, he is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has more than 5 years’ experience working in the private sector with international accountancy and consultancy firm, KPMG.
His roles in healthcare have covered Tertiary, Secondary and Community care, and both physical health and mental health. He has led high-performing teams at all levels, that have consistently delivered significant improvement in quality, operational and financial performance. In his career he has developed wide-ranging partnerships and collaborations to transform healthcare and support the economic regeneration of local communities.
Immediately prior to joining Hamad Medical Corporation he was the Chief Executive Officer for the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals in the United Kingdom.
