Dr. Hossein Gharib, MD
    
Dr. Hossein Gharib is Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University and his medical degree at the University of Michigan. He completed his internship and residency at Philadelphia General Hospital and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.  He is Master of the American College of Physicians and a Master of the American College of Endocrinology.

Dr. Gharib is the recepient of the Laureate Award from the Mayo Clinic Department of Medicine and the Paul Starr Award from the American Thyroid Association. He is also the recipient of the Distinguished Physician Award from the Endocrine Society and the Distinguished Service Award from the American College of Endocrinology. He is the President of both the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American College of Endocrinology and is the immediate Past President of the American Thyroid Association.
