Aine Molloy

Aine started her career in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as an industrial hygienist following an associate’s degree in biomedical engineering and a bachelor's degree in health and safety at the University of Ireland, Galway. 

In 2017, Aine completed her master’s in public health and epidemiology and began transitioning into the field of healthcare, starting with Ireland's national agency for public health forecasting, progressing to claims management & risk forecasting for the Irish national health service Aine developed strong connections with many hospitals in the Irish healthcare system and in 2018, secured a position as health and safety specialist in an orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation hospital. 

The role had elements of facility safety, construction safety, food safety, claims management, grievances, quality, regulatory, compliance, patient safety & clinical risk management. 

Aine moved to the US in October 2021 and joined Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in April 2022 as a Patient Safety and Risk Management Specialist. 

Aine achieved her CPHRM in November 2024. Aine is also a member of MSHRM, regularly speaks at new staff orientation and is a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee for resident, fellow and faculty education.
