We invite you to submit abstracts for consideration at the 5th Qatar Summit for Healthcare Risk Management. The summit aims to bring together experts, practitioners, and researchers in healthcare risk management to share knowledge, insights, and innovations in improving patient safety and enhancing the quality of care. We encourage submissions that align with the following themes:

Decreasing / Eliminating Preventable Serious Safety Events:Abstracts under this theme should focus on strategies, interventions, and best practices to reduce or eliminate severe preventable safety events in healthcare settings. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

- Human factors engineering to mitigate safety risks
- High-reliability organization principles
- Use of technology and data analytics for early detection and intervention

Enhancing Patient Safety:Abstracts related to this theme should explore innovative ways to improve patient safety throughout the healthcare continuum. Relevant topics include:

- Simulation-based training for healthcare professionals
- Safety culture assessment and improvement initiatives

Implementing Just Culture Innovations:Under this theme, we welcome abstracts focusing on implementing just culture principles to promote accountability, transparency, and learning from errors. Submissions may cover:
- Strategies for Fostering a fair and non-punitive culture
- Reporting systems that balance blame-free reporting with accountability
- Case studies of successful just culture integration
- Legal and ethical considerations in just culture implementation

Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts should be submitted in English and must not exceed 500 words.
- Include a clear title, authors' names and affiliations, and contact information of the corresponding author.
- Indicate the theme your abstract aligns with (e.g., Theme 1: Decreasing Preventable Safety Events).
- Provide a concise overview of the problem, methods, key findings, and implications for practice or policy.
- Abstracts should be well-organized and structured.
- Submissions will undergo a peer-review process for selection.
