Program Goals

  1. Introducing learners to the fundamental concepts and importance of quality improvement and patient safety worldwide as per Open School Curriculum.
  2. Introducing learners to the IHI’s Innovation Series white papers to further the HMC mission of improving the quality and value of health and health care.
  3. Meeting structural or accreditation standards.
  4. Creating a shared understanding of improvement and a common IHI methodology language within an organization. 
  5. Helping prepare staff members to be leaders in their careers. 
  6. Develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to participate as members of improvement teams.
