Dr. Khadija Moussayer (Morocco)

  • Dr. Khadija Moussayer is a specialist in internal medicine and geriatrics, she has been working as a liberal in Casablanca since 2008, she also exercises associative activities in non-governmental organizations of which she was a founding member, in particular the Alliance of Rare Diseases in Morocco (AMRM ) and the Moroccan association of autoimmune and systemic diseases (AMMAIS). She is also vice-president of the Moroccan Association of Angioedema Patients (AMMAO).

  • She has performed several medical interventions on subjects inherent in internal medicine and geriatrics: systemic lupus, Gougerot-Sjögren, celiac disease, hereditary angioedema and diabetic neuropathies. She has been the author of several publications in medical journals and in the mainstream press on autoimmune diseases and rare diseases. She works in close collaboration with national and international patient associations and led several awareness campaigns on pulmonary arterial hypertension , kidney disease , consanguineous marriage, the interest of systematic neonatal screening and on the screening and treatment of phenylketonuria and on Covid 9 during this pandemic period.

  • She has hosted countless radio broadcasts on various subjects, in particular the diseases of the elderly.
