Dr. Mahmood Al-Dhaheri is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Hamad General Hospital, Doha, Qatar. He obtained his MBBS from Aden University before completing his General Surgery residency and Colorectal Surgery fellowship at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar where he also established and led the unit’s educational and research program. He went on to earn the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS, Eng) in UK and the Fellowship of the European Society of Coloproctology in Ireland. In addition, he holds an MSc in Medical Education from the University of Oxford. His professional interests include laparoscopic and robotic surgery, clinical research, and advancing medical education.
