
Mr. Khalil was appointed as a consultant oncoplastic and reconstructive surgeon at Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals (University Hospitals Birmingham), the UK, in 2008 and specialized in Breast, Thoracic,Trunk/Abdomen, and Perineum Reconstruction.
He studied medicine at Cairo University Medical School and started his career at Cairo University hospitals. Moving to the UK, he worked at the internationally recognized breast, plastic, and reconstruction unit at Kings College and St Thomas.’Hospital, London. Mr. Khalil is a lecturer at the College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham, and clinical lead for the international surgical training program at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Additionally, he acts as an expert advisor for NICE for wound management and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a regular speaker at national and international meetings and an author for 60 high-profile journals.
