Food and Mood (Emotional/ Disordered Eating)
Target audience
Clinical practitioners in public and private healthcare organizations who might work with children and adolescents with eating-related challenges. Caregivers of children and adolescents with eating-related challenges.
Learning objectives:
After attending this workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding on the variety of challenges an individual may have in relation to food and eating
- Critically appraise opportunities to prevent the development of unhealthy eating habits/eating disorders
- Support others towards healthier ways to deal with stress, emotions, triggers and cravings by adopting suitable coping mechanisms and eating patterns.

Title: Psychiatric Manifestation in medical conditions- Mental Health Patient in a General Hospital Setting
Target Audiences:
Physicians (all Grades), nurses and allied health Professionals
Learning Objectives:
After attending the workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Articulate knowledge on the overview of the clinical picture and etiological factors of stroke syndrome, including evaluation of the magnitude of various neuropsychiatric disorders post stroke such as depression, anxiety, mania and psychosis and apathy.
- Undertake comprehensive assessment and management of delirium in general hospitals, including the role of psychiatry and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Articulate a comprehensive overview of ischemic stroke assessment and management, including the context of stroke foundation guidelines for secondary prevention after acute stroke.
- Incorporate evidence-based strategies to multidisciplinary team management of these patients within their clinical context and with consideration of the scope of neurorehabilitation.
