Dr. Wadoo is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and Director of the Psychiatry Fellowship Program at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha Qatar.He is the Chair-elect of the Middle East Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
He has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the National Health Service in England before joining Hamad Medical Corporation in 2017.
Dr. Wadoo has been directly involved in clinical and research work related to COVID-19 and is part of the international consortium to study the short‐and long‐term consequences of SARS‐CoV‐2 on the CNS. His COVID related research work includes publications on mental health services response, telepsychiatry, mental wellbeing of healthcare workers and the need for a prospective study of viral impact on brain functioning.
Dr. Wadoo is associate editor of the British Journal of Medical Practitioners.He is a member of British Neurosciences Association (UK), International Brain Research Organization (France) and Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (Germany).
He has a Masters in Healthcare Management and has particular interest in medical education and healthcare management. His research interests include primary care psychiatry, liaison psychiatry and medical education. He has established record of research work published in international journals.
