Dr. Ibrahim Mamoun Ibrahim MD, FRCP, CCST, Cer Med Ed
Dr. Ibrahim is a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at Sidra Medicine and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell. He has been a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh since 1999 and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2009.
Dr. Ibrahim completed his higher training in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Internal medicine in the UK and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2007.He was awarded his Medical Doctorate (MD, PhD) from the University of Newcastle after successfully completing a thesis entitled “The genetic basis of Insulin resistance and CVD.”
Before joining Sidra Medical & Research Center, he worked as a consultant endocrinologist at the University Hospital of North Durham and served as an Overseas Regional Adviser for the Royal college of Edinburgh from 2013 to 2015. He is currently leading the Endocrine service at Sidra Medicine.
