
Prof. Sebastian Kelle
Prof. Sebastian Kelle is a german board certified cardiologist with more than 15 years of experience in Cardiac MRI. He was trained at the German Heart Center Berlin and Charité University Medicine Berlin, Germany. After spending two years as a Research Fellow at John Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA he established his own working group in Berlin, Germany focusing on cardiac MRI and evaluating ischemic heart disease and heart failure. He has published more than 100 papers and was awarded as a Fellow of the American Heart Association (AHA), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR). Currently, he is the Chair of the Advocacy Committee of the SCMR and elected deputy speaker of the chapter of cardiac MRI of the German Cardiac Society (DGK). His research interests are the assessment of early stages of heart failure and atherosclerosis by non-invasive imaging methods like cardiac MRI. Since 2017, he holds a full professorship for cardiac MRI at the German Heart Center Berlin and Charité University Medicine Berlin, Germany.
