
Dr. Abderrazak Sahraoui
Dr. Abderrazak Sahraoui graduated from the University of Constantine, Algeria. During his 20 years of experience, anesthesia for orthopedic surgery was always his main field of activity and regional anesthesia his field of interest. The former activity allows him to experience the different types of nerve localization; anatomical landmarks, electrical stimulation and ultrasonography.
In addition to his academic education and his professional experience, Dr. Sahraoui attended many international courses and completed some internationally recognized diplomas, including the Interuniversity Diploma in Regional Anesthesia and Analgesia from the University of Montpellier, France. He also completed a 3rd Cycle Diploma in Interventional Pain Medicine from the University of Montpellier, France and European Diploma in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management (EDRA).
Currently, Dr. Sahraoui is a Consultant Anesthetist in Hamad Medical Corporation. His time is divided between the orthopedic surgery and breast cancer surgery. In addition to his clinical work in the operating theater, Dr. Sahraoui is an Associate Director for the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management Fellowship Program, Program Director for Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia Training Program and Program Director for the Anesthesia Technicians Acute Pain Management Training Program.
