Inpatient Admission at Al Wakra Hospital
We understand that being admitted to the hospital, especially for the first time, can be an unfamiliar and sometimes overwhelming experience. Whether your stay is planned in advance or occurs unexpectedly, our commitment remains the same: to provide you with safe, high-quality, and compassionate care in a person-centered environment that respects your values, needs, and preferences.
Your admission to Al Wakra Hospital may be arranged in several ways, depending on your healthcare needs:
- Through the Emergency Department or Outpatient Clinics for extended observation or an overnight stay.
- As a planned admission, coordinated through shared decision-making with your physician following a detailed discussion about your treatment needs.
We are committed to ensuring that each patient and their family feels supported, respected, and involved throughout their care journey. By fostering a culture of compassion and collaboration, we actively engage patients, families, and staff in improving care experiences and overall wellbeing. Throughout your journey, you are not alone. We welcome your Care Partner, a trusted family member or friend, to stay involved and support you during your hospital stay. Their presence can play an important role in your comfort, safety, and healing.
Once admitted, you will receive care from a dedicated multidisciplinary team that will guide you through every step of your hospital stay. Al Wakra Hospital offers a full spectrum of inpatient services, including acute, intensive, and long-term care, designed to address a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups:
