Rehabilitation services
HMGH rehabilitation departments offer a broad range of rehab services, close-to-home expertise, and support. This work helps to ensure optimal recovery and continuity of care for patients in need of relief from chronic pain or rehabilitation after an injury or surgery. The patient and the Rehab care team will tailor a recovery plan that addresses the patient's specific condition and rehabilitation goals. Personalized, treatment includes but not limited to manual therapy techniques, physical and/or functional exercises, strategies and education to restore functional abilities, enable regaining optimal independence and self-sufficiency, develop functional abilities to compensate deficits in order to achieve the highest level of function, activity, and quality of life possible.
