The Communicable Disease Center is purpose-built to manage patients with this type of condition and ensure that the virus is not spread to other people within the hospital or outside.
Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital
One of HMC’s newest facilities, Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital provides a modern, state-of-the-art environment in which to treat male and female patients of all nationalities with COVID-19.
All ambulatory services at HMGH have been temporarily suspended until further notice. The hospital’s Emergency Department remains open as normal to treat life-threatening emergency medical conditions.
Ras Laffan Hospital and Mesaieed Hospital
Our two newest hospitals, both opened in 2020, have been designated to care for COVID-19 patients. The opening of these new hospitals increases the health system’s capacity by over 400 acute beds for COVID-19 patients and that the country is able to expand that even further if the need arises.
