Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is committed to delivering the safest, most effective and most compassionate care to each and every one of our patients. This aim is at the heart of everything we do and every decision we make.

We see continued professional development as one of the key factors that supports this aim, which is why, in 2013, in partnership with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, we held the first Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare; to strive for continuous improvement across the health system for the good of our patients.

Since then we have held three more highly successful forums with increasing attendance every year, which demonstrates a real desire from all who work in healthcare to ensure we are adding value in healthcare in the safest and highest quality conditions.

In 2017 we intend to build on the experiences of previous years to ensure we provide an educational event with a stimulating and thought-provoking program that provides translational learning across the system.

At this year’s event we want to support system-wide transformation in healthcare. This means sharing ideas on how we can best improve the overall patient experience and population health, whilst being cost and resource effective. Meeting this challenge has growing importance in our industry and this year we want to help delegates with practical solutions and ideas to really add value in healthcare. We expect to match previous year’s participation this year with over 3,000 delegates from across the region and the globe, and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to join us for what promises to be a dynamic and richly rewarding event.
