Work Stream: Improvement Science
Level: All
Room Capacity: 100

If we, the staff, clinicians, managers and leaders within health services, continue to think as we always have, we are likely to get the results we have always had. This session will illustrate practical approaches and tools that have been used by health care leaders and frontline staff to fundamentally rethink pathways of care and service delivery to not only improve but transform health services.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Identify a step by step process for service innovation
  • Demonstrate a variety of tools and techniques to support the innovation process from idea generation to implementation
  • Provide participants with a number of take home tools and techniques
