Dr. Mohamed Yahya Abdelhai
Dr. Mohamed Yahya Abdelhai is a consultant nephrologist with extensive experience in internal medicine, nephrology, and kidney transplantation.
Dr. Abdelhai received their medical degree in 2004 from the University of Khartoum and completed his residency in internal medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation from 2008 to 2013. After completing his residency, Dr. Abdelhai pursued a fellowship in nephrology and kidney transplantation from 2013 to 2016 at Hamad Medical Corporation.
Currently, Dr. Abdelhai is a consultant nephrologist at Hamad Medical Corporation. In this role, Dr. Abdelhai leads the assisted home dialysis program. Dr. Abdelhai is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in the field of nephrology.
Dr. Abdelhai 's contributions to the nephrology department include successfully implementing high quality care incremental peritoneal dialysis at HMC. In addition to patient care, Dr. Abdelhai is passionate about medical education and is involved in teaching and training medical students, residents, and fellows at Hamad Medical Corporation. Dr. Abdelhai is a member of several professional organizations, including the Royal College of Physician (MRCP- UK).
