Ms. Safia Sayyed joined HMC in 2001 as a staff nurse and worked in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) for 8 years. She was promoted to nurse educator in 2009 and has been covering Heart Hospital education needs until December 2019. At the Heart Hospital she was the lead planner for cardiology courses, including: Basic ECG Interpretation Course, Cardiology Foundation Course and Hemodynamic Monitoring in Critically Ill Patients.
Ms. Sayyed is also actively involved in the Critical Care Foundation Program, Fundamentals in Emergency Nursing and the Pre-Anesthesia Care Unit Program.
Ms. Sayyed was promoted to Acting Director of Nursing Education in January 2020 and is responsible for leading all nursing educational activities in Rumailah Hospital.
