Dr. Shaikh Nissaruddin’s primary specialty is Anesthesia. Working in surgical & Trauma Intensive Care unit for more than a decade, and he was the first physician from Qatar to be awarded European Diploma in Intensive care (EDIC) in 2004. He had published so far around 78 papers in peer-reviewed, international and regional medical journals, and written 13 chapters in medical books. His special interest is managing critically ill patients, critical care education and research. His research interest is Necrotizing Fasciitis, Fat Embolism Syndrome and Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.
