Dr. Adham A H Darweesh
(Senior Consultant Radiologist, Head of Body Imaging-HGH, Head of Clinical Imaging- HMGH, Fellowship Program Director, Associate Director of Radiology Residency Program at HMC, A/Professor of Clinical Radiology, Weill Cornell Medical College - Qatar)
Dr. Darweesh is a Senior Consultant Radiologist at Hamad Medical Corporation, specializing in GI and GU Imaging. He is also the Head of Body Imaging and Fellowship Program Director.
Dr. Darweesh received his Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1993, and his specialty FRCR degree from The Royal College of Radiologists in London and the Jordanian Board of Diagnostic Radiology in Amman in 2005.
He has been trained in multiple countries, including Palestine, London, Boston and Qatar.
Dr. Adham is the Chief Radiologist of HMGH Clinical Imaging, Chairman of the Scientific Corporate Clinical Imaging Committee, and a Core Faculty member of the Residency Program.
He is also Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar.
Dr. Darweesh is a Core member of various MDTs (Colorectal, Upper GI, IBD and Thyroid MDT) and has authored and co-authored over 40 peer reviewed research. He is a regularly invited speaker at International Colorectal Conference in Doha and ACTES annual conference in Tirana.
Finally, he is a member of the GI and Thyroid Qatar Cancer Advisory Committee.
