Dr. Monica Zolezzi
Bachelor of Pharmacy and Biochemistry degree from the Catholic University Santa Maria in Arequipa, Peru. Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. PhD degree from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Completed an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency at the Calgary General Hospital, and received her Advanced Prescribing Authorization from the Alberta College of Pharmacists, Canada. Dr. Monica Zolezzi is currently Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University since August 2014. Dr. Zolezzi has over 20 years of pharmacy practice experience. Her research focuses on expanding roles for pharmacists, pharmacy education, rational use of medications in the geriatric population and in people with mental illness.
