Hanneke Peeters
Hanneke is the General Manager of ‘&happy’, a young company started by Games for Health and Stichting Sensire, a large elderly care organization in The Netherlands. &happy develops and applies serious games to improve personalized, patient centered care. She is passionate about innovation and technology, and developing partnerships to build future proof healthcare models.
Hanneke started her career as a business consultant in The Netherlands, where she assisted hospital management with the design and implementation of costing models and administrative systems. For 12 years she worked for PharmAccess Foundation, a Dutch NGO focused on improving physical and financial access to healthcare services in Africa. In various roles, she managed multi-country programs in the areas of health insurance for low income populations, quality improvement and access to finance for healthcare facilities, and mobile health wallets. She worked with governments, private partners and health tech companies to introduce digital solutions to the African market. Between 2007 and 2011 she lived in Lagos, Nigeria where she started and managed the country office of PharmAccess Foundation.
Hanneke holds a Master's Degree in Health Sciences, with a specialization in Policy and Administration and completed a Senior Management Program at Lagos Business School.
