​Mr. Gary Kenward                                               

A senior nurse with a breadth of managerial, research and clinical experience.  Joined HMC in Jan 2018 after a full career in the British Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2017.  Has a keen interest in healthcare research and has published widely on the implementation of acute care hospital teams.  Led on a funded study investigating British soldiers experience of hospital care post traumatic injury in Afghanistan which helped to improve care.  As AEDON for the Mobile Healthcare Service (MHS) he oversees MHS nurses working in the Hamad International Airport clinic, the community and in the Patient Recovery Centre (Medical City), the focus of this presentation.
