Kristine Siapo Luzano
Staff Nurse/Trauma Surgical Unit
In 2007, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Centro Escolar University in Manila. In the same year, she became a Registered Nurse after passing the Nursing Licensure Exam of the Professional Regulatory Commission in the Philippines. She joined HMC in August 2008 as a Staff Nurse in the Trauma Surgical Unit of Hamad General Hospital. She is an advocate for patient safety and satisfaction. She is a certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses Provider. She is a clinical instructor at the Critical Care Foundation Program and a mentor of new staff though the HMC Preceptorship Program. She has also been involved in injury prevention activities and community outreach programs. Ms. Luzano is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician for Safe Kids Worldwide. She is a committee member of the Alcohol Screening Brief Intervention and Treatment Program of the Hamad Trauma Injury Prevention Department.
