On behalf of HMC, I would like to welcome you to attend this milestone conference.

Hamad Medical Corporation’s relationship with Heidelberg University and their medical faculty has been in existence for many years and one long-standing mutual wish has been to collaborate on a research conference to promote learning and professional expertise.

This is the first time that we are organizing the Doha-Heidelberg Research Conference in Qatar, and we hope it will become an annual event featuring future professional educational opportunities with our esteemed Heidelberg partners.

This year’s educational event takes place over two days and the main focus is on GI cancer with a targeted section on neuro-oncology; followed by a second track that focuses on Genomic Newborn Screening. The conference brings together leading scientists from across cancer genomics for a unique opportunity to interact and stimulate further integration of these efforts.

Our aim is to make this an exceptional event for all healthcare professionals interested in scientific research. This conference provides an ideal platform for extensive scientific discussions and professional networking. The conference will facilitate peer-to-peer dialogue and promote new collaborations between our organizations.
