International and national educational activity
- Founder and Chairperson of the Ultrasound School of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology in 1996.
- Organizer and/or faculty member in more than 300 national and international musculoskeletal ultrasound courses under the umbrella of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology, EULAR, ACR, and other International Scientific Societies.
- Convenor and senior author of the EULAR Ultrasound Scanning Guide and App, 2016.
International leadership
- Chairperson of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) Standing Committee on Musculoskeletal Imaging (2013-2017).
- Co-chair of the OMERACT (Outcome Measures in Rheumatology) Ultrasound group (2008-2016).

- Author of 200 publications in indexes international journals and 40 book chapters or books.
