Dr. Walid Ibrahim

Dr. Walid Ibrahim is an associate medical director and an interventional cardiologist at Jackson Medical Group, University of Miami. 

He has an extensive medical background and earned his medical degree from the University of Khartoum. Following this, he completed a residency training in internal medicine and academic medicine fellowship at Hamad Medical Corporation. 

He further advanced his training in the United States, completed another internal medicine residency training at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, where he served as the chief medical resident in Quality and Patient Safety.

Dr. Walid then joined the University of Miami Jackson Health System to pursue a fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, after which he became a faculty member. 

He is board-certified by the Arab Board Committee in Internal Medicine, a member of the Royal College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology

Additionally, he is an American board-certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography, as well as in Medical Quality.

Dr. Walid has published over 20 research papers in the fields of cardiology and interventional cardiology.
