Dr. Mohammed Ibn-Masud Danjuma 

Dr. Mohammed Ibn-Masud Danjuma is an accomplished physician and academic with extensive expertise in internal medicine, and clinical pharmacology. Holding dual certifications in General Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology from the UK, Dr. Danjuma has maintained an impressive academic and clinical career spanning over two decades. He obtained his MBBS in 1997 and furthered his education with a Master’s in Nephrology and a Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacology from Sheffield, UK. He has completed 6 years of clinical training in various hospitals in the UK leading to the award of certificate of completion of specialist training (CCST) in 2012. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.

Currently, Dr. Danjuma serves as a Consultant in General Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar, and the Associate Clerkship Director for Internal Medicine at Qatar University, a role reflecting his dedication to medical education.

Dr. Danjuma is a prolific researcher, with an array of impactful translational publications spanning several morbidities. His research interests include stratified medicine, adverse drug reactions, and the use of biomarkers in kidney disease. He has successfully secured numerous research grants, including projects focused on diabetic neuropathy and COVID-19, and has published extensively in high-impact journals.

Dr. Danjuma has received multiple awards, including the Best Teacher in General Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation. His career is further distinguished by his leadership roles in clinical and academic settings and his significant contributions to advancing medical education and research. Beyond his professional life, Dr. Danjuma enjoys football, tennis, traveling, and reading, embodying a balanced approach to personal and professional fulfillment.
