Dr. Mohamed Aly Elsherif
Dr. Mohamed Aly Elsherif is an experienced Consultant in Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine with over 30 years of experience. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar and is the Founder and Director of the Certificate in Obesity Management and Bariatric Care training program for Physicians. Additionally, he holds the
role of Associate Director of the Bariatric Medicine Fellowship Program at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
Dr. Elsherif completed his Ph.D. in Internal Medicine at Tanta University, Egypt, and deepened his expertise in endocrinology with a Diploma and Master’s degree in Endocrinology from the University of South Wales, UK. His dedication to medical education led him to earn a Diploma in Training to Teach in Medicine from Harvard University. He also contributes as an Instructor in Communication Skills courses at HMC.
