Learning objectives
At the conclusion of the workshop the participant will be able to understand the concept of “lifestyle changes” and incorporate diet and exercise in the management of patients with diabetes; appreciate the flexibility of meal choices within the healthy lifestyle and recognize carbohydrates counting in managing patients with diabetes who are treated with insulin.
