The Rheumatology Division at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is delighted to invite you to join the 2nd Annual Qatar Rheumatology Symposium, a hybrid event on 8 and 9 October 2021.
The symposium will include a workshop on the usage of dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) in diagnosing and monitoring osteoporosis. Local and international experts will deliver lectures on various topics, including giant cell arteritis (GCA), anti-phospholipid syndrome, rheumatologic causes of fever of unknown origin, IgG4-related disease, and NSAIDs/glucocorticoids, which physicians of all specialties commonly prescribe.
The two-day event targets physicians who care for patients with rheumatic diseases and those interested in learning more about rheumatology. It aims to provide physicians with information on a broad spectrum of rheumatic diseases, their early diagnosis, and the latest advances in therapy.
